If you need work done

Four steps, and none of them need you to type a long description.

STEP 01
Tell us what needs doing
A voice note, a photo and a landmark is a complete job post. Posting is free, and so is reading the quotes that come back.
STEP 02
Compare quotes, or book a published rate
Nearby verified fundis send up to five fixed prices. For everyday work like cleaning or laundry you can simply book someone's published hourly or day rate.
STEP 03
Agree a price
Pick the fundi you trust. The moment a job is booked, you and the fundi can see each other's phone numbers and arrange the day.
STEP 04
Pay through Kazi Fundi
The fundi's price is paid by Mobile Money into Kazi Fundi and held until you confirm the work is finished. A flat UGX 10,000 service fee is added at that point — nothing before.

For professionals

Set your own price — an hourly rate, a day rate or a fixed quote. We take commission only when a job is done.

STEP 01
Get verified
Confirm your phone and national ID, show examples of your work, and for the top badge add a recommendation letter from your LC1 chairperson. Verification is free for the first 100 fundis.
STEP 02
See jobs near you
Jobs within your travel radius, with the budget and the area shown up front. Quote a fixed price, or publish your hourly or day rate so customers can book you straight away.
STEP 03
Do the work, on record
The customer's payment sits with Kazi Fundi before you travel, so you know the job is real and the money is there.
STEP 04
Get paid through the platform
Once the customer confirms the work is done, your money is released to your Mobile Money within a couple of working days, less commission — 8% standard, 5% on Plus, 3% on Pro.
